First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 19, 2026 · Updated 36 times

Summary

This study tests a combination of two chemotherapy drugs (gemcitabine and docetaxel) plus hydroxychloroquine, a drug usually used for malaria, in people whose osteosarcoma (a type of bone cancer) has returned or stopped responding to standard treatment. The goal is to find the safest dose and see if the combo can stop the cancer from growing. About 31 participants will take part in this early-stage trial.
