First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 32 times
Summary
This study tested whether a hydrocolloid dressing (a special bandage) works better than a standard zinc oxide cream for treating diaper rash in newborns and infants in the NICU. 44 babies with diaper rash were treated and their skin was checked at 24, 48, and 72 hours. The goal was to see which approach helps the rash heal faster.
