This study looked at whether drinking an extra 1.5 liters of water every day for a year could help lower blood sugar levels in adults who show signs of dehydration. About 800 people took part, with half getting extra water plus lifestyle advice and the other half just lifestyle advice. The goal was to see if staying well-hydrated could improve blood sugar control and reduce diabetes risk.
