Gel injection may speed healing after wisdom tooth removal

Summary
This study tests whether placing a hyaluronic acid gel into the socket after wisdom tooth removal can reduce pain and improve bone healing. Twenty adults who need both lower wisdom teeth removed will receive the gel in one socket and a plain sponge in the other. Pain and bone growth will be measured over six weeks.
