First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether applying hyaluronic acid gel into the socket after wisdom tooth removal can reduce pain and improve bone healing. Twenty adults needing both lower wisdom teeth out will have one socket treated with the gel and the other with a plain sponge. Pain is tracked with a simple scale, and bone healing is checked with X-rays and a small biopsy six weeks later.
