Gel may speed healing after wisdom tooth removal

Summary
This study tests whether a gel made from hyaluronic acid (a substance already used for joints and eyes) can reduce pain and improve bone healing after wisdom tooth removal. Twenty adults who need both lower wisdom teeth out will get the gel in one socket and a plain sponge in the other. Researchers will measure pain levels and check bone growth six weeks later.
