Could a few radiation sessions replace weeks of treatment for recurrent prostate cancer?

NCT ID NCT07500701

First seen Mar 31, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study is for men whose prostate cancer has returned after surgery, shown by rising PSA levels. It compares a standard 4-week radiation course to a much shorter 1-2 week course. The goal is to see if the shorter option is just as effective at controlling the cancer while being more convenient. About 270 participants will be followed for 5 years to check cancer control and side effects.
