Could a skin drug also protect the heart?
NCT ID NCT07454889
Summary
This study aims to see if a standard treatment for a chronic skin condition (hidradenitis suppurativa) might also help slow the progression of plaque in the heart's arteries. It will follow 34 adults with the skin condition who are at high risk for heart disease. Researchers will use special heart scans to measure plaque changes over 12 months while participants receive their regular skin treatment.
