Summary

This study tests a new educational guide to help women with BRCA mutations decide whether to take hormone replacement therapy after having their ovaries and fallopian tubes removed to lower cancer risk. About 50 premenopausal women scheduled for this surgery will receive either the guide or standard counseling. Researchers will measure how confident and satisfied patients feel with their decision.
