New pill aims to control hard-to-treat stomach and solid tumors

Summary
This early-phase study tests an oral drug called HQP1351 in about 100 people with advanced gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST) or other solid tumors that have stopped responding to standard treatments. The main goals are to find a safe dose and check for side effects, while also looking at how the drug moves through the body and whether it can shrink or slow tumor growth. Participants must be at least 12 years old and have tumors that are resistant to or have failed prior therapies.
