First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study looked at how well the HPV vaccine protects against HPV infections that can cause cancer in Rwandan women aged 18-28, both with and without HIV. Researchers measured infections and antibody levels years after vaccination, and also tested a simple, low-cost way to confirm if someone was vaccinated. The goal is to show the vaccine's long-term benefits for women at high risk of HPV-related cancers.
