First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study tests whether one dose of the HPV vaccine works as well as two or three doses in preventing cervical cancer in Tanzanian girls aged 9-14. About 900 girls will receive different numbers of doses and be followed for up to 9 years. If one dose is enough, it could make the vaccine cheaper and easier to give to more girls in Africa.
