NCT ID NCT03036930
First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study looks at whether giving the HPV vaccine to adults before they receive a kidney transplant can help their bodies build a strong immune response. After transplant, patients take drugs to prevent rejection, which weaken the immune system. The goal is to see if the vaccine still works to protect against HPV-related cancers in this vulnerable group. About 51 participants will receive the vaccine before their scheduled transplant.
