Vaccine tested to stop cervical lesions from coming back
NCT ID NCT06658405
Summary
This study is testing whether giving the HPV vaccine to women over 45 after they've had treatment for high-grade cervical lesions helps clear the HPV virus and prevents the lesions from returning. Researchers will compare 85 women who receive the vaccine with those who don't, tracking HPV status and lesion recurrence over two years. The goal is to see if vaccination after treatment provides better long-term protection against cervical abnormalities.
