Vaccine tested to stop HPV return after cervical treatment

NCT ID NCT06658405

Summary

This study is testing whether giving the HPV vaccine to women over 45 after they've had treatment for high-grade cervical lesions helps their bodies clear the HPV virus. It will follow 85 women, some who receive the vaccine and some who don't, to see if vaccination reduces the chance of the virus persisting or the lesions coming back. The goal is to see if vaccination after treatment provides better long-term protection against HPV-related problems.
