Could less radiation mean easier swallowing after throat cancer surgery?

NCT ID NCT05387915

Summary

This study is testing if a lower dose of radiation after robotic throat cancer surgery can reduce long-term swallowing problems while still controlling the cancer. It's for people with HPV-positive throat cancer who have a low risk of recurrence based on a special blood test. The goal is to see if this approach improves quality of life compared to the standard, higher radiation dose.
