First seen Dec 16, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tests whether women in war-torn Ukraine can screen for cervical cancer using a simple self-sampling kit for HPV. About 1,000 women aged 30-60 will collect their own samples at home and send them to a lab. The goal is to see if this approach works during conflict and helps catch cancer early.
