Bringing cervical cancer screening to women with HIV: At-Home HPV tests could save lives

NCT ID NCT07428330

First seen Mar 10, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study compares two ways to offer cervical cancer screening to women living with HIV: standard clinic-based screening versus adding community outreach where women receive HPV self-collection kits at home or other community spots. About 7,600 women will take part across multiple clinics. The goal is to see if the community approach increases how many women get screened, helping to catch and prevent cervical cancer earlier.
