Simple blood test could revolutionize throat cancer Follow-Up

Summary
This study looks at whether a blood test that measures HPV DNA can help find throat cancer recurrence earlier in patients with HPV-related oropharyngeal cancer. About 420 adults who have finished treatment and are cancer-free at 3 months will be followed. The goal is to see if this test can reduce unnecessary doctor visits for low-risk patients and catch relapses sooner in high-risk patients.
