First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tests two methods to prevent low blood pressure during surgery: a new AI tool called the Hypotension Prediction Index (HPI) and simply raising the standard monitor alarm to 73 mmHg. About 100 adults having long surgeries will take part. The goal is to see if the expensive AI tool works better than a simple alarm change.
