First seen Apr 05, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study looked at how often a specific gene change (called HOXB13 c.853delT) occurs in men with prostate cancer in Martinique. Researchers tested 465 men of African descent who had prostate cancer. The goal was to understand how common this gene change is in this population, which may help explain why prostate cancer rates are so high there.
