NCT ID NCT03115788

This study aimed to understand how feeling pain might temporarily affect a person's ability to focus and remember things. Researchers had healthy volunteers play a simple attention game on an iPad. They tested their game performance before, during, and after applying brief, safe heat or cold to their skin to create temporary pain.
