Summary
This study looks at how long adults with severe Pneumocystis pneumonia (a serious lung infection) should take steroids. People who get better quickly (no longer need oxygen by day 10) will either stop steroids then or continue for 21 days. The goal is to see if stopping earlier reduces side effects like infections or high blood sugar, while still keeping patients healthy.
