Weight may change how your body responds to aspirin
NCT ID NCT04697719
Summary
This study investigated whether a person's body weight affects how aspirin works to reduce inflammation in the body. Researchers gave 103 adults aged 40-70 either aspirin or a placebo and measured specific inflammation-related substances in their blood. The goal was to understand if people of different weights might need different aspirin doses for optimal anti-inflammatory effects.
