Weight may change how aspirin works in your body

NCT ID NCT04697719

Summary

This study aimed to understand how a person's body weight influences the way aspirin affects certain natural molecules in the blood that help resolve inflammation. Researchers enrolled 103 adults aged 40-70 and gave them either aspirin or a placebo in a random order, then measured changes in these molecules. The goal was to gather basic knowledge, not to treat a specific disease.
