Summary
This phase 3 trial tests whether Houyanqing Oral Liquid, a Chinese herbal mix, can prevent or reduce severe mouth sores caused by radiation therapy in 386 nasopharyngeal cancer patients. The study aims to see if fewer patients develop grade 2 or worse mouth sores, and if their quality of life improves.
