Does your Hospital's experience affect your cancer surgery outcome?

NCT ID NCT06343597

Summary

This study looks back at medical records to see if patients with esophageal cancer have different outcomes depending on where they get surgery. Researchers are comparing hospitals that perform many of these surgeries each year to those that perform fewer. The goal is to understand if the amount of experience a hospital has affects patient survival and recovery.
