Summary
This study aims to understand how gender-affirming hormone therapy (GAHT) affects heart health, metabolism, and mood in transgender individuals. Researchers will follow 94 participants for 12 months, taking blood samples and performing various health checks before starting therapy and again at 6 and 12 months. The goal is to gather detailed information to help improve future healthcare for transgender people.
