Summary
This first-in-human study tested the safety of a new oral drug called HOPO 14-1 in 42 healthy volunteers. The drug is being developed to help remove radioactive materials from the body after accidental exposure. Researchers gave single doses of the capsules to see how the body processes the drug and to check for any side effects.
