Single session of hope: a new tool for survivors of abuse

NCT ID NCT06375876

Summary

This Yale University study developed and tested a brief, self-guided program designed to increase hope in women experiencing intimate partner violence. The research team wanted to see if this single-session intervention was practical, safe, and well-liked by participants, and if it could improve their hope, self-worth, empowerment, and emotional wellbeing. The study involved 97 women who used a smartphone app to track their feelings daily before and after completing the program.
