Can a single session of hope help heal survivors of abuse?
NCT ID NCT06375876
Summary
This Yale University study developed and tested a short, self-guided online program designed to build hope in women currently experiencing intimate partner violence. Researchers tested whether the single-session program was practical, safe, and well-liked by participants, and whether it improved their feelings of hope, self-worth, empowerment, and emotional wellbeing. The study involved 97 women who used a smartphone app to track their daily feelings before and after completing the program.
