First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looks at whether doing exercises at home works as well as going to a physical therapist for people with new Achilles tendon pain. About 56 adults with symptoms for at least 6 weeks will be randomly assigned to either a 12-week home program or formal therapy. They will report their pain and function at several points over a year to see which method is more effective.
