Does dialysis at home lead to a better life? new study investigates
NCT ID NCT06458322
Summary
This study aims to understand how starting dialysis affects patients' quality of life and physical frailty, and whether these changes differ for people who choose to do dialysis at home versus at a clinic. Researchers will follow 200 adults with advanced kidney disease for up to a year after they begin treatment. Participants will regularly answer questionnaires and perform simple physical tests to track their well-being over time.
