First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study compares a safe, non-invasive brain stimulation device used at home (tDCS) to the drug duloxetine for treating fibromyalgia symptoms like pain and fatigue. About 610 women with fibromyalgia will receive either the device, the drug, or a placebo. The goal is to see if the device works as well as the drug, with fewer side effects.
