NCT ID NCT07203339
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study tests if a safe, at-home brain stimulation method (tDCS) works as well as the drug duloxetine for easing fibromyalgia symptoms like widespread pain, tiredness, and poor sleep. About 610 women will receive either real tDCS plus a placebo pill, duloxetine plus fake tDCS, or both fake treatments, along with exercise and pain education. The goal is to find a drug-free option that helps manage symptoms with fewer side effects.
