First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This small study tested whether people with Parkinson's disease can safely use a brain-stimulation device called tDCS at home. Six participants, aged 40 to 70, used the device for 20 minutes each day for a week, with video call support. The main goal was to see if it was practical and free of serious side effects, while also checking if it helped with movement symptoms.
