Home visits aim to stop TB in its tracks for vulnerable kids
NCT ID NCT07479030
Summary
This study is testing whether having community health workers visit homes is better than standard clinic care at getting children who live with a TB patient to start and finish a course of preventive medicine. It will involve about 1,300 children under 15 in southern Ethiopia. The goal is to find a more effective way to protect children from developing active tuberculosis.
