Game on your phone could help catch diabetic eye disease early
NCT ID NCT07386613
Summary
This study tested whether people with diabetes at high risk for eye problems could use a smartphone app with vision games to monitor their sight from home. Researchers enrolled 55 participants, including pregnant women and people on dialysis, to use the app for six months. The goal was to see if this home monitoring is practical and acceptable, potentially making it easier to catch vision changes between regular doctor visits.
