Game on your phone could help save your sight from diabetes
NCT ID NCT07386613
Summary
This study tested whether people at high risk for diabetic eye disease could use a smartphone game app to check their vision at home. The goal was to see if this was a practical and acceptable way to monitor for vision changes between yearly doctor appointments. Researchers enrolled 55 adults with diabetes, including those who were pregnant or on dialysis, to use the app for six months.
