New supplement aims to help tiny babies eat and grow

Summary
This study looks at whether a liquid supplement with two natural sugars found in breast milk can help preterm babies (born at 34 weeks or earlier) tolerate feedings and grow. About 188 babies will receive the supplement, and their progress will be compared to a historical group of similar babies who did not get it. The goal is to see if the supplement helps babies reach full feeding sooner and gain weight, length, and head size better.
