First seen May 03, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looked at 66 HIV-positive adults who switched from a standard three-drug treatment to either a two-drug or a three-drug regimen. The goal was to see how these changes affected markers of inflammation and immune system balance. All participants had undetectable virus levels before switching. The study does not aim to cure HIV, but to find safer long-term treatment options.
