First seen Jan 18, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study tested a new way to talk about HIV testing in Uganda. The messages focused on how testing can help keep relationships strong and families healthy, especially with the availability of PrEP (a medicine that prevents HIV). Over 7,600 people from two hospitals took part. The goal was to see if this approach made more partners get tested for HIV and use prevention tools like PrEP.
