New program aims to protect young survivors from HIV and substance issues

Summary
This study aims to improve support services for adolescents and young adults after sexual assault. Researchers will work with survivors and community advisors to design better services that include same-day HIV prevention medication and substance use screening. They will then test this new approach with 40 participants to see if it's practical, acceptable, and more effective than current care.
