Summary
This study tested whether a medication called Delstrigo could help prevent HIV infection in people who may have been exposed to the virus. 399 adults who visited emergency rooms after potential HIV exposure received the medication for 28 days. Researchers tracked whether people completed the full treatment course and monitored for any side effects or new HIV infections.
