New community approach to HIV prevention shows promise
NCT ID NCT07218211
Summary
This study tests whether delivering a long-acting injectable HIV prevention medication (lenacapavir) through a trusted community organization helps Latine gay/bisexual men and transgender women stay on the medication longer. Researchers will work with El Centro Hispano to provide culturally appropriate support and injections on-site. The goal is to understand what helps or hinders people from starting and continuing this prevention method.
