New HIV prevention program aims to protect older black women

Summary
This study tests a group-based HIV prevention program designed for Black women aged 50 and older living in subsidized housing. The program aims to improve HIV knowledge, condom use, and testing by addressing their unique life experiences. Sixty participants will be randomly assigned to start the program right away or wait 4 weeks. The study will measure how well the program works and if participants find it helpful and engaging.
