This study tested a phone app designed to help Black young men who have sex with men (ages 18-29) in Alabama get HIV tests and learn about prevention. The app offered education, support, and referrals for PrEP, a daily pill that prevents HIV. Researchers wanted to see if the app was liked and if it led to more HIV testing and PrEP use.
