HIV treatment gets faster: 30-Second shot tested
NCT ID NCT03913195
Summary
This study tested if an existing HIV medication called Trogarzo could be given in a faster, more convenient way. Researchers wanted to see if a 30-second IV push or a simple injection into the muscle was as safe and effective as the standard longer infusion. The study included 43 people who were already taking the drug as part of their stable HIV treatment regimen.
