HIV treatment gets a shot in the arm: quicker, simpler doses tested

NCT ID NCT03913195

Summary

This study tested if an existing HIV medication, Trogarzo, could be given in simpler ways. Researchers wanted to see if a very quick 30-second IV push or a simple injection into the muscle was safe and worked as well as the standard longer IV infusion. The goal was to make treatment more convenient for people whose HIV is already well-controlled with their current regimen.
