New hope for kids with Drug-Resistant HIV
NCT ID NCT04648280
Summary
This study is testing a drug called fostemsavir, combined with other HIV medications, in children and adolescents whose HIV has become resistant to multiple standard drugs. The goal is to see if this combination is safe and can effectively control the virus in this younger population when other treatments have failed. Researchers will measure how well the virus is suppressed and monitor side effects over time.
