Summary
This study aims to adapt an existing, proven HIV and substance abuse prevention program to better fit the needs of Black adolescent girls in Paterson, New Jersey. Researchers will work directly with the community, using focus groups and feedback sessions with about 10 girls aged 13-18. The goal is to create a tailored program that helps reduce risky behaviors and increase knowledge about HIV and drug use.
